Why cereal growers use Sea2Soil

Highly nutritious food source
Sea2Soil provides a highly nutritious food source for soil microorganisms. Beneficial soil bacteria help convert nutrients into forms readily available to the plant — supporting more efficient crop function and growth.

Promotes optimal plant health
With a broad nutrient profile in bioavailable form, Sea2Soil helps boost and replenish soil nutrient content and promote optimal plant health and growth.

Works with your crops
Autumn and spring windows are ideal times to boost soil health and optimise early crop nutrition — especially while newly drilled crops are establishing.

Versatile and easy to use
Sea2Soil is easy to apply and compatible with many plant protection products for added convenience.

Recommended use rates and timing for cereals
In all crops, it is better to apply early while the crop is young. This gives you the opportunity to add maximum benefits to establishing crops when they really need it.
Winter cereals
Spray 10 L/ha pre-emergence, or as soon after drilling as possible. Follow up with 10 L/ha early in the spring, as soon as you can travel. It is better to spray while the crop leaf area is small.

Spring cereals
Spray 10 L/ha pre-emergence, or as soon after drilling as possible. Follow up with 5 to 10 L/ha later in the spring, before stem elongation.

Foliar Application
5 to 10 L/ha
*Multiple applications can be made in the season — up to 6 times a year.
Direct Soil Application
10 to 20 L/ha
Recommended Dilution
1:250 in 100-200L/ha water
How Sea2Soil supports soil and crop function
Fish hydrolysate can be utilised by the soil microbiome and the plant directly. Sea2Soil supports beneficial soil bacteria that convert nutrients into a form readily available to the plant, helping crops function and grow more efficiently.
Sea2Soil contains a full range of naturally balanced amino acids. L-amino acids can be taken up by the plant directly for protein synthesis, while D-amino acids support soil bacteria and soil health.

Application methods and practical guidance
Sea2Soil can be applied (after dilution) in different ways: directly to the soil, as a foliar spray, or through irrigation systems.
Suitable Irrigation Systems
- Direct-to-soil application methods
- Drill-mounted liquid fertiliser applicators
- Fertiliser streamers
- Foliar application methods
- Standard hydraulic crop sprayers
- ‘Tow & fert’ type systems (for applying with other fertilisers or plant protection products)
Filtration / equipment
Filtration and sprayer care: Sea2Soil is pre-screened (filtered) to 100 μm but may contain larger particles. Screening is recommended prior to application through fine filters, and filters within the equipment should be thoroughly cleaned after each use.
Important note
Always seek advice from your agronomist before applying Sea2Soil for use in organic production. Not to be applied to any edible parts of crops.

Tank Mix Compatibility
Sea2Soil is compatible with a wide range of products, including certain fungicides, herbicides, and PGRs.
When tank-mixed with herbicides in foliar applications, the fish oil content acts as a natural surfactant, which can enhance spraying performance.
For full details on the latest compatibility testing, please contact us. It is advisable to complete a simple compatibility bucket test before mixing in the sprayer tank.
